Rationale
When working in day-time with the
CalUnitSystem the TCS must be informed. If this is not done the TCS offloads the static offsets of the ASM on the primary mirror M1. Since the M1 is not seen by the AO system working in day-time the offsets are not actually offloaded and forces are integrated on M1 that at last goes in panic.
The AOS has a flag to tell the TCS that the AO system is working in AO loop using the Cal Unit as source. At the time of writing, this flag can be set using the FLAO SW, but in the future this should be also implemented by the
ArgosArbitrator to avoid the need of logging into the FLAO computers.
At the beginning of CalUnitSystem AO operation
- Login on the adsecdx or adsecdx computer as AOeng. See UsefulLoginInfo
- Open a terminal and run the following command when CalUnitSystem operation begin:
[AOeng@adsecdx ~]$ enable_rr_mode.sh
When CalUnitSystem AO operation is complete
- as above but:
[AOeng@adsecdx ~]$ disable_rr_mode.sh
