This is a work in progress.
In the html below the Jupyter notebook export containing the simulation code and the its outcomes so far.
Grid size appear to be a critical factor, to avoid aliasing a simulation grid of 16Kx16 was used (first series of plots).
Running the simulation with the same parameter but with a smaller grid size produced unexpected results, as
shown in the following series of plots.
Also, the alising seam to be related to the F-number of the Schack-Hartmann lenslets (smaller F number needs higher sampling to get the a plausible result).
We might want to use even higher sampling to simulate smaller F-number.
