Daytime day 1 (single-lambda)

PYPS off

1. Check Fernando LOR decomposition with masked pupils. Alfio has to provide code to read the Zernike written by Fernando. Fernando provides a set of signals obtained as a linear combinations of Zernike. Alfio decomposition of such signals should find the exact coefficients.

2. Check Fernando masking for IM and reconstructors.

a. Check correct number of points and dimensions

b. Check that points masked in the IM are correctly located in IDL.

c. Check that Alfio and Fernando use the same order for the IM and reconstructor.

PYPS on

1. System re-start

2. Measurements of new IM: Filter 700/40, Tilt modulation 7V, Seeing limited source, LOR = 0

a. IM BIN1 piston-only (15min)

b. Closed loop test with BIN1, LOR=0, LOR = 48, LOR=150. Check for number of steps required for convergence. (20min)

c. IM BIN2 piston-only (15min)

d. Closed loop test with BIN1, LOR=0, LOR = 48, LOR=150. Check for number of steps required for convergence. (20min)

e. IM BIN3 piston-only (15min)

f. Closed loop test with BIN1, LOR=0, LOR = 48, LOR=150. Check for number of steps required for convergence. (20min)

Total time =120min + system restart

Option 1 for the recovery plan of night 1.

1. Test SL reconstructor of run#2 in closed loop

2. Check registration of signals for old reconstructor with the actual situation.

Option 2 for the recovery plan of night 1:

1. measure IM for tip-tilt BIN1 and closed loop test

2. measure IM for tip-tilt BIN2 and closed loop test

Daytime day 2 (multi-lambda)

PYPS off

1. Check tilt of filters 780, 900, 700 in the existing look up tables.

2. Set up code for the fast multi-lambda algorithm.

a. Remove the threshold operation done using the command difference. Introduce the threshold on the differential commands of lambda2 (short lambda).

b. Calculate the threshold for lambda2 measurements for the combination 780-900 in nanometers.

3. Use IM (BIN1, 700/40,mod7V) to obtain reconstructor for multi-lambda (780-900) operations for:

a. single-piston

b. 6 pistons

c. 36 pistons

4. Calculate IM with LOR using the previously measured IM. PROBLEMS with IM acquisition small masks of the segments.

5. Numerical simulations of effect of LOR when using the tip-tilt reconstructor.

PYPS on

1. System start-up

2. Closed loop test with multi-lambda using:

a. Fast multi-lambda algorithm

b. Single piston scramble

c. Adjust of thresholds values with LOR=0

d. Adjust of threshold values with LOR>0

3. Closed loop test with 6 pistons

4. Closed llop test with 36 pistons
