Rationale

We what to know the geometry between the ASM actuators indexes and the LGSW subapertures.

This information have been used to build a syntetic IM between the LGSW and and the DX ASM using Zemax, but they can become useful for other tasks.

DX side

  1. This file gives the relation between the actuators indexes and the XY coordinates in the DX ASM coordinate system.
  2. http://aowiki.arcetri.inaf.it/pub/ARGOSPublic/AsmActuatorsToLgswSubaps/002s105b - LBT AO Coordinate System Definition.pdf gives the relation between the ASM coordinate system and the general telescope coordinate system.
  3. How the telescope coordinate system is seen from the LGSW camera can be understood from the ASM swing arm shadows on the 3 WFS pupils.
  4. This doc shows the final arrangement of the various coordinate systems.
