Description
The purpose of the housekeeping system is to monitor the environmental status of the whole instrument. The following parameters are measured:
- Temperature and humidity in all racks.
- Temperature and humidity in the laserboxes.
- Ambient temperature and humidity.
- Temperature of the C-Ring extensions.
- Pressure of the cooling water supply.
- Pressure of the compressed air supply.
Warnings and alarm signals are generated by the instrument control system. The housekeeping system is not linked to the Instrument Alarm System, both are independent. Usually the housekeeping system checks
the health of the system, but if the software fails or is simply not running the hardware based IAS will take care about the instrument.
