BCU SX debugging

15:00: we start to check the behaviour of the SX BCU. We notice that the main issue is when the Pyramid slopes are enabled. On DX we measure slopes between +/-1, while on SX they reach 60. Probably due to low light values.

When we close on SX we get duplicated slopes on ARGOS BCU.

  • Setting Pyramid to BIN2 the frame counter gets weird numbers (order of 10^6) while working with BIN4 the framecounter is 0.

We try a direct loop between FLAO and AdSec through fiber splitter. Optical loop data is decimated by 1.

Then we try to disconnect one of the 2 outputs of the fiber splitter, going directly to the AdSec. This seems to help: we see anymore the duplicated slopes and the ARGOS BCU stays alive.

3.50: residual of binocular collimation prevent us to find the guide star... we try to clear out previous collimation and start from scratch...
