Results of the analysis:
SX FW2 best working position
11:00: This analysis was already done in March 16 run. The best FW2 position found was -0.004. We put LUCI1 rotator at 0deg. We defocus the Z stage to 32mm equivalent to 2". We then close on QC w/o TS, we move FW2 by few steps around working position and we measure the QC overall flux:

11:45: we also check for FW2 homing and positioning repeatability. So we close on QC w/o TS. We defocus Z stage to 32mm. We pause the NGS and home FW2. This is the reference position. Then we move FW2 to pos1 (empty) and then we home it:

Then we do the same for the position repeatability: we take a first reference positon and then we move back and forth FW2 between pos1 (empty) and pos0 (qc mirror):
Test of acquisition of a MAG18 star
12:30: we spent time debugging the APD set decimation that is causing the APD viewer to freeze and it is blocking the NGS magnitude calculation at the beginning of the CL.
13:00: we try to test the acquisition on a MAG18 star. We increase the number of frames taken by CCD47 to 300 first and then 500 but it is always failing
- we need to adjust thresholds for NGS acquisition or to produce a new acquisition procedure able to work at MAG>17
Second FW2 positioning error measurement
15:00: we check again the repeatability of FW2 using a different approach: we close the loop on QC, we pause and move FW2 to pos1 and then back to pos0. We resume the loop and we measure the offset introduced by the FW2 positioning error on the LGSW jitter offset:
