Visual Inspection

11:00: telescope back to Zenith, we climb and check the racks: fine. The pressure gauge on SX-PNCCD had low battery. We pumped it anyway up to 0.45mbar. BcuNumber1 installed on LgswRack2.

12:00: LgswUnitSx switched on step by step: first PnCCD, then BCU then Patrol cameras then homed motors and dark wheel. PCD is OFF. Light with internal diodes seems fine.

We switch to external source: we do not see any big feature in illumintating the LGSW with the cal source.

12:40: PCD switched on, system restarted from AARB.

The above problem was caused by the wrong Centos configuration in our argos.idx

Currently on both Adsec and WfsSx are running Centos 5.6 so we had to move the config line to that (in May apparently they were running Centos 6)...

14:00: telescope to horizon to refill LBCs.

14:30: telescope to zentih we deploy cal source and dichroic.

We resume the test of LgswUnitSx: we close the loop with LGSW only, NO disturb (first 2 snaphots in table below).

Then we add 1" disturb, cal source diodes are at 100mA.

Then we move to test the Pyramid as TT sensor. The nominal launch position is at [-77.5; -49.1]mm we measure the best position to be [-71.9; -49.1]mm. Before to launch it is worthwhile to add an offset of [-6.0; 0.0]mm.

We close on PYR, after 1min BCU stacks...

We disconnect the Adsec fibers to the 50/50 splitter (LIU-0605-1-5)

  • The TS is misconfigured: KL_v18 was not set in the .CUR, we had to put it by hand...
