PASSATA object oriented Adaptive Optics simulator for IDL

How to get the library

PASSATA is on GitHub: github.com/ArcetriAdaptiveOptics/PASSATA, but it is a private repo.
github.com/ArcetriAdaptiveOptics/IdlTools is also required to use the library (another private repo).
The dll (github.com/ArcetriAdaptiveOptics/IdlTools/tree/main/GPU) must be compiled and installed on the workstation to get GPU acceleration.

PASSATA and the current AO systems

PASSATA is mainly used to assess performance and sensitivity to parameters variations during the design phase of SOUL, ERIS, MAORY, MAVIS and HiRES AO systems.
